Before you start using Modern Projects, make sure you're all set up and ready to go by following 5 simple steps:

Step 1 - User permissions
Before you roll out Modern Projects, have a think about who you would like to have access to our 'self-sufficiency' tools in the platform. Anyone who will be creating, managing or editing projects in the platform will need a combination of the below permissions:
- User Manager: Can add, manage and delete Sova platform users without need for support from Sova
- Project Builder: Can build new projects in the admin portal
- Content Manager: Can access the content area and share content
- Content Author: Can configure new 1-way video interviews

Step 2 - Account structure
Your Modern Projects can be built into any of your existing accounts, but you may want to create a new structure to house your new projects to keep them separate from your older projects. This is a good opportunity to streamline your current set up to make it easier for you to access your projects.
Step 3 - Content sharing
The content sharing area is where you can access and manage all of your assessment, exercise and report content. This is the content that you will be able to add to your Modern Projects so making sure this is set up with everything you need is an important step before you build your first project.

Step 4 - Branding
Your branding settings can be set up at a client level in the platform, these can be adopted by each new project you create, or you can setup account/project level branding instead.
Before you create your new projects, you will need to add the following at the client level:
- Logo
- Primary & secondary branding colour

Step 5 - Email Templates
Email templates can be set up at a client or account level in the platform and will automatically populate in any new project you create. From here, you can update the templates to be project-specific should you need to.
If you don't want to set up your own email templates, the Sova standard templates will populate instead - you can either use these out of the box or tweak for your specific use case.
Once these 5 steps are completed, you can begin creating your new project.
