This section will help you to understand the different types of information that can be presented to a candidate along their journey, and recommendations for the types of content to include at each stage.
This article gives you an overview of the three main types, as well as some tips to help you build an engaging journey for your candidates:
1. Project Information
2. Phase Information
3. Activity Information
4. Top tips for sharing information with candidates
Project Information
Project information appears for candidates in the 'overview' tab as soon as they have accepted the data protection agreement.
- You can have a minimum of 1 and maximum of 10 sections in project information
- Each new section will appear as another line in the page contents & will have a header to differentiate between sections
- Candidates must read all project information before they progress to their activities
- Project information is always available and candidates can navigate back here at any time
💡 In this section it's helpful to include information such as a welcome message, an overview of what to expect, or more information on the role the candidate is applying for
Phase Information
Phase information appears for candidates in the 'activities' tab as they enter each phase.
- You can have up to 5 phase information sections in each phase that are unique to that phase
- Phase information is optional and if not added the candidate will just go straight into their activity completion
- Phase information appears as a 'tile' that candidates will click on to access the information
- Phase information is only available whilst the candidate is in that phase
- For assessment and video interview phases candidates must read all phase information before they complete their activities
- For assessment centre phases, phase information does not prevent the candidate from entering their exercises at the scheduled time
- For assessment centre phases, an optional restriction can be added to the amount of time a candidate is able to access phase information before their assessment day starts
💡 In this section, think about including any information that is relevant for the candidate at this stage in their journey, such as more information on the activities they are about to complete
Activity Information
Activity information is presented to the candidate as an additional page in their assessment or video interview (note that activity information is not available for exercises).
- You can add a maximum of 1 open and 1 close per activity
- Assessment information is optional and not required for the candidate to complete their assessment
- Anything you add as 'activity information' will only display for that project and won't impact the activity if it is being used in other projects
- Activity information is available for candidates to view until they click out of their activity
💡 In this section you may want to include a thank you message for candidates, or more information to help them complete their assessments or video interview
Top tips for sharing information with candidates
✅ Try to include imagery and videos alongside the text to help bring your brand to life and make the candidate experience engaging

✅ If there is some information that's only relevant to some stages of the candidate's journey, this is best presented to them in the phase
