Users: Roles

Every action a user can take on the platform has a corresponding permission. Sets of permissions are grouped together to create Roles that consist of logical sets of actions that a certain type of user may wish to perform.

 

The below table details the current Roles available in the platform's administration portal and their corresponding actions.

 

Role Action Comments
Basic Portal User
  • Can add participants and assessors to a project

  • Can download reports

All users must be assigned this role.
Project Admin
  • Can add, edit and delete participants and assessors

  • Can edit project settings, including email notification templates

  • Can manage and download reports

  • Can download project extracts

  • Can create and manage teams

User must also have to one or more Projects.
Account Admin
  • Can add, edit and delete participants and assessors

  • Can edit account and project settings, including email notification templates

  • Can manage and download reports

  • Can download account and project extracts

  • Can create and manage teams

  • Can deactivate an account

User must also have to one or more Accounts.
Client Admin
  • Can add, edit and delete participants and assessors

  • Can edit client, account and project settings, including email notification templates

  • Can manage and download reports

  • Can download client, account and project extracts

  • Can manage account activities

  • Can create and manage teams

  • Can deactivate an account or client

User must also have to one or more Clients.
DAC Scheduler
  • Can create, manage, schedule and delete digital assessment centre (DAC) sessions

 
Advanced Settings Manager
  • Can view Advanced Settings page from menu

  • Can manage branding

  • Can manage competency profiles

Management of advanced settings is also dependent on user’s .
User Manager
  • Can add, manage and delete Sova platform users

Must also be assigned Advanced Settings Manager role.
Project Builder
  • Can add and edit projects

User must also be Account or Client Admin.
Interview Builder
  • Can add, edit and delete interview packs

 
Automation Admin
  • Can display and edit overall phase scores 
  • Can set up automation

Content Manager
  • Can access the Content area
  • Can share assessments, exercise (sets) and reports with clients, account and projects
User must also have to one or more Accounts or Clients.
Content Author
  • Can access the Content area
  • Can create and edit activities, such as video interviews
  • Can share assessments, exercise (sets) and reports with clients, account and projects
