Coming Soon Platform Release 2026:2

The 2026:2 release includes updates across several areas of the platform, including changes to Admin UI, new candidate-facing features, and expanded assessment centre functionality, details of which are outlined below.

Candidate Feedback Survey (Modern Projects)

We're introducing a standardised candidate feedback survey that gives your team consistent CSAT data across all candidate experiences without needing any custom setup.

How it works: After a candidate completes all mandatory assessments, video interviews, or exercises in a phase, they'll be shown a short survey with three questions covering their overall experience, ease of navigation, and an optional free-text comment. The survey can be dismissed, in which case it will reappear after the next phase. Once a candidate submits at least one response, they won't be shown the survey again.

Key things to know

  • Results are anonymous — survey responses are not linked to individual candidate records, and this is stated clearly to candidates on the survey itself.
  • You can download all survey results (including comments and the phase at which feedback was given) via a new extract in Admin UI.
  • The survey is translated into all supported Sova languages.
  • The survey is on by default for all Modern projects. If you need it turned off for your projects, please contact your Sova account team.

Accessibility Toolbar: New Options (Modern Projects)

We've added further options to the accessibility toolbar available in Modern projects and activities, and with this update, all aspects of the toolbar meet WCAG 2.2 AA criteria.

Key things to know

  1. Spacing controls: Candidates can now adjust letter, word, line, and paragraph spacing to suit their reading preferences.
  2. Reduce motion: Reduces animated or moving elements on screen.
  3. Highlight links: Makes hyperlinks more visually distinct.

These additions complete the accessibility toolbar. No action is needed from your team — the updated toolbar is available to all candidates in Modern projects automatically.

Moderation in Virtual Assessment Centre 2.0

We're introducing a moderation role within Virtual Assessment Centre 2.0 in Modern Projects experience. Moderation is a premium feature and is not enabled by default.

A moderator can be assigned to an assessment centre session to independently audit and review assessor scoring. Their role is to compare their own scores against those of the assessors to check for consistency and quality in line with your company’s guidelines.

What moderators can do

  • They can monitor when a session is validated, by receiving a email on “Assessor - Schedule Summary."
  • Attend any event within a session alongside the assigned assessors.
  • Score all exercises in a session independently.
  • Review their scores alongside assessor scores (and assessors' exercise summary notes) once both they and at least one assessor has scored an exercise.
  • Add a moderator review summary note.
  • Moderator scores and comments can be included in dynamic extracts.

To enable moderation for your assessment centre, please contact your Sova account team. Once enabled, the fields to add moderators to a session will become visible in the assessment centre setup.

Admin UI Redesign

We've made significant updates to the administration portal (Admin UI) to improve usability, navigation speed, and overall experience. Here's a summary of what's changing.

New homepage

When you sign in, you'll now land on a homepage showing your recently viewed projects. A search bar lets you search across all projects, accounts, and clients you have access to from one place.

Admins can personalise the homepage with a banner image and shortcut links (for example, links to your ATS or internal guidance).

The buttons on the homepage correspond to the same areas visible in your sidebar and reflect your permissions — you'll only see areas you have access to.

Updated sidebar

The sidebar is always visible and collapses automatically on smaller screens. You can also manually expand or collapse it. A link to the Sova Help Centre is accessible at the bottom of the sidebar. An optional sidebar icon can be set in your branding settings.

Redesigned Projects, Accounts, Clients, and Partners pages

All entity pages have been updated with a consistent layout including filters, sorting, and search. Project cards now surface key information at a glance — including whether a project is Modern, draft, or deactivated, candidate count, and activity count — with quick links to the schedule and candidates pages.

Accounts, Clients, and Partners pages follow the same layout principles. Navigation between levels (for example, from a project to its account) is now more direct and easy to navigate.

Project cards display key stats at a glance: the number of candidates, completions, and activities on the project. Clicking the card itself takes you to the project's results page, the person icon takes you to the candidates page, and the pin lets you pin the project for quick access. Client cards follow a similar pattern, showing the total number of accounts, projects, and candidates sitting under that client.

Activity reset: reason now required

When resetting a candidate's activity in Admin UI, you'll now be prompted to enter a short reason. This applies to all activities across all project types.
