Modern projects offer a new candidate experience as well as a new project builder interface, which make creating, editing and publishing project as intuitive and efficient as ever.
- Click the 'Add project' button on your homepage. If prompted, select 'Modern' project.

Add the key details and click 'Save' to create the project. To continue, work through the options in the left-hand side menu from top to bottom to set all elements for the project.
- Set Project Design. Here you can set the branding colours for the project.
- Set at least 1 Project Information. You can add text, images and videos
This Project Information will be shown to candidates at the start of the project. Green and amber 'Language' pills on the cards will show you whether you have added the information translated in all project languages.

Add a Phase. Read more about phases here. Optionally you can name a phase. You can add up to 5 Phases.
- In each Phase, you can add up to 5 Phase Information. This Phase Information will be shown to candidates when they get to this phase.
- Add activities (assessments and video interviews) for this phase. If desired, for each activity you can add Activity Information that will be shown directly before or after the candidate accesses the activity.
- Set the Phase Messages (optional). Here you can add a Holding Message and Exit Message. For phases other than the first phase, you can also set a Phase Invitation message. The guidance on screen can tell you more about these messages.
If your organisation has already set message templates at Account or Client level, these will pre-populate. Simply click 'Save' to add them to your project.
- If desired, add Reports.
- Set Project Messages.
- If needed, make changes to the Settings and Candidate Agreement.

Click 'Preview & Publish' to preview the candidate experience: here you can change remaining design elements such as the background image and add a tagline. If you spot any typos, you can go back to the project builder and correct.
- Once everything looks ready to go, click 'Publish'. If you have any translations or essential elements missing, a warning will let you know.
- Once a project is published, you can add candidates to it. Please note that certain elements can no longer be edited after publishing.
